My First Tanking Run

Well I did it, I actually tanked a dungeon. we only wiped once and it was the hunters fault, so I felt really good about it. You have to understand that Tanking for me is like that kid who goes to the local pool and all the kids are jumping off the high dive, he wants to do it, but it scares him to death, then once he does he sees that it wasn't that big of a deal.  I did find that you really need to be on board with your rotation, and that is tough.  I have my tool bar set. but i find I face smash the kids when I get flustered. My guess is that it will come with time.

But I am excited that the first one went off with out a hitch.  I will practice on some normal dungeons and then its off to try heroics. I may need a stiff drink after that one !!!

ZG or ZA that is the question

I recently have had the experience of being in both new instances , Zul Gurub & Zul Aman. Both of which are challeneging but not impossible.  I found that before catacylsm, Zul Aman was the harder of the two simply because it was an level 80 raid. ZG was a level 60 raid. Now however the stories have switched and ZA is the easier of the two instances, in my opinion.  I like the story line they created for these instances coming back, a troll invasion, very cool concept.  There are quests which go along with in which are very cool and hint to even bigger things to come. 

What does this Mean for the Order?
Well, this could mean a couple of different things. Right now the Order is just starting out, however we have some 85's who are readyt o tackle these instances. When that time comes and we have five members who are up to the challenge, then the Order will begin its assault on the Temple Compound of Zul Aman. With some vital information from Vol'Jin, we have begun our scouting of the compound and planning our attack.  The trolls in the compound are attempting resurrect some troll spirits and use the power to help drive out the other races from the Ghostlands. The Order MUST help to stop this from happening, I have no love for the horde however if thier lands fall then it will bring about a chain reaction which the alliance will feel.

A New Era

The Temperian order is back !!!  Even though I am starting from scratch, I feel that the philosophy we have works really well.  People, for the most part, play this game because its fun and to get away from life's stress and craziness. The Temperian Order is just that, a place to play the game we all love with worring about being judged for low gear or weird builds. Free from ridicule about wanting to dps with a warrior instead of tank , which is what warriors are supposed to do!  We as a guild will try all avanues of the game from raiding to PVP to dungeons and world events, however there is no stress with it, no raid schedules and -50 DKP if you don't show. We stress respect to all in the guild and with that respect come help.

I do miss breeding that type of atmosphere in the game, I have joined several guilds since the Order broke up two years ago, and honestly none have had the feel of the Order.  We just had fun! we laughed and joked even when we had wiped for the hundredth time! That is on account ot the people in the guild whom all shared the like mind as I did that this game was ment to be fun. 

My hope is I can do it again and gather people into one arena where we can enjoy the game and have a blast. If this sounds like what you have been looking for in a guild please shoot me a whisper on the Norgannon server . The names Lycandrian and you are welcome to join the Order
